How Our Work Together Unfolds

Therapy is a collaborative and exploratory process. My work focuses on helping people understand the patterns that shape their experiences, develop greater awareness of their bodies and responses, and build the capacity to move through life with more clarity and regulation.

Our first sessions focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what feels most important to explore. From there, we move at a pace that allows for thoughtful reflection and meaningful progress.

Some people come to therapy for support through a specific life transition, while others choose to engage in deeper exploration over time. There is no single timeline for this work; each person’s process unfolds differently.

Throughout our work together, we continue to revisit what feels helpful, what is shifting, and where you want the process to lead.

Important Things:

You are the expert on your own life. Therapy is a space where we work together to better understand your experiences and the patterns that shape them.

Growth sometimes requires exploring difficult places. At times, I may ask challenging questions or invite you to reflect on experiences that feel uncomfortable. This is always done with care and intention.

Your voice matters in the process. Ongoing feedback helps shape the direction of our work together and ensures therapy remains supportive and meaningful for you.

Change takes time. There is rarely a single moment where everything shifts. More often, change unfolds gradually as we begin to understand ourselves in new ways.

This work can be challenging and also deeply worthwhile. Many people find that the effort invested in understanding themselves more fully creates meaningful shifts in how they experience life and relationships.

Are we a good fit?

Finding a therapist you connect with matters. Therapy is a collaborative relationship, and it’s important that you feel comfortable with the person you’re working with.

Before beginning therapy, I offer a brief consultation to learn a little about what brings you here and what you’re hoping for in this process. This conversation also gives you a chance to ask questions and get a sense of whether my approach feels like the right fit for you.

If all feels right, we can discuss next steps and how to begin working together.
